Cable's Roofing is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our team in our Tyler, Texas office. This person will drive both potential customer lead intakes and customer satisfaction by fielding inquiries, creating leads for sales reps, addressing customer issues and warranty claims, soliciting and processing customer reviews and solving customer pain points.


The ideal candidate has sales oriented and customer-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in every prospect and customer interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all inbound phone calls and walk-ins (similar to that of a receptionist) and manage initial prospect communication and ongoing customer communications.
  • Process prospect leads for sales team.
  • Assist customers with solving their complaints and issues while always maintaining a calm, empathetic, 'customer is right' attitude.
  • Consult customer on job success and solicit their reviews.
  • Track interactions in CRM - Record customers interactions in internal system for cross-functional awareness and relationship development.
  • Interact with both sales and production departments to solve customer issues.
  • Assist sales department with metrics and reports.
  • Perform various office 'housekeeping' tasks to ensure that the office reflects a calm, organized and friendly environment.

Requirements:

  • No previous experience necessary.
  • Ability to use Microsoft platforms such as Word and Excel.
  • Ability to use Google Sheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Ability to address complaints and issues with effective solutions and a positive attitude
  • Passion for delighting customers with above and beyond service
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with any CRM system

Compensation:

Wage based on your qualifications. Starting pay range is $16 - $20 per hour with room for growth.
